KABAYOGA is a unique fusion of various yoga techniques and styles, meticulously crafted from my extensive experience in yoga, movement, dance, and meditation. These classes seamlessly
integrate flow, breath-work, and meditation, guiding practitioners through a dynamic sequence of postures that combine cardiovascular activity with deep stretches. At the core of this practice are the principles of classical Hatha-Raja yoga, emphasising Asana (physical postures) and Pranayama (breath control), enriched with sequences inspired by Ashtanga yoga.
Class Structure:
Introduction: Each session begins with a brief centering meditation, a sankalpa
(intention), and a Qigong warm-up to prepare the mind and body.
Main Practice: The core of the class flows through a series of postures synchronised
with breath, facilitating internal release and mindfulness.
Conclusion: Sessions conclude with a grounding meditation, occasionally incorporating
Kriya practices to enhance integration.
Music accompanies the practice to maintain energy and rhythm, creating an immersive
experience. Throughout the class, I share insights on cultivating inner peace and
strength through breathwork and conscious release, embracing the harmony found in
life’s contradictions.
